Site Manager

Job Description

A Regional Contractor are looking to appoint a Site Manager to manage both high rise and low rise residential refurbishments projects in the Manchester area.

Reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager the Site Manager will be the number 1 on site and will be responsible for the refurbishment of 2 high rise tower blocks which will include kitchen and bathroom replacements, communal area refurbishments, some Fire stopping works and asbestos removal.

Responsibilities:

* Ensuring projects are scheduled for works to complete on time and to budget
* Overseeing direct and sub-contract labour, resources and materials
* Ensuring a pro-active approach to Health & Safety, ensuring projects follow company procedures and legal legislation
* Maintaining a positive relationship with customers, maintaining a professional standard service to ensure smooth running of the project
* Ensuring quality control is adhered to and works are completed to the highest possible standard

Experience :

* A strong track record of successfully delivering high rise refurbishment projects
* Some experience of managing Fire Stopping works
* Valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Removal certificates
* Excellent communication skills
