Job Description

My client are a well- established, family owned Contractor who specialise in New Build and refurbishments projects up to £5m. They operate in most areas of construction including Retail, Commercial, Leisure, Education and Residential.

Due to the award of new projects, they are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver projects both in the North West and occasionally in other locations. The first project will be the extension of a Sports Facility in Leicester.

Site Manager duties will include:

* Supervise and effectively manage all subcontractors and labour on Site
* Monitoring overall progress against programmes.
* Liaison with clients and the management team in striving to achieve good standards of quality
* Monitor projects to ensure they have the correct resources to be completed on time and to the required standard
* Monitor the performance of the workforce on a regular basis and provide training and support where necessary

Experience required:

* Experience of undertaking the full scope of Site Management actives as a Number 1 on site
* Knowledge and experience of successfully delivering new build and refurbishment projects from 250k up to £5m.
* Ideally from a trade background
* Detailed understanding of Health & Safety procedures
* Energetic and enthusiastic approach to working
* Stable career history
* Valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS
