Job Description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Civil Site Manager to work with a leading Regional Civil Contractor.

Established for decades and based in the Manchester area, they're currently looking to strengthen their site teams.

Applicants will be required to work the M62 corridor in the North West and must be willing to be flexible.

An experienced Civil Site Manager you'll be required to:

* Plan and organise labour and plant on site
* Maintain Quality Control
* Control costs and monitor weekly
* Have a working knowledge of MS Project, maintain and update contract programmes
* Ensure all resources are used efficiently on site
* Maintain high safety standards
* Keep records and maintain electronic filing system
* IT literate and able to operate Word, Excel electronic documentation
* Ensure the site is a safe and tidy place to work and visit
* Manage and reduce waste
* Project a professional image and lead by example
* Ability to work as part of a team and maintain client relations

Ideally you will have experience working on civil engineering projects, including Drainage, Concrete, Earthworks, Highways, Utilities and River works.

You will also need:

* HND/HNC or higher (Ideal but not essential)
* Valid CSCS card (essential)
* SMSTS qualified(essential)
* Competent in Health and Safety practice (essential)
* A good knowledge of Environmental Management (essential)
* Experienced in a variety of Civil Engineering disciplines. (essential)
* First aid at work qualified (essential)
* Current valid driving license (essential)
* 5+ years Civil Site Management (essential)
