Job Description

One of the UK's largest and most innovative house builders are currently in the market for a Site Manager to manage a brand new housing scheme in Crewe.

This profitable national house builder have been established for over 60 years and currently turnover in excess of £40 million. A dominant player within the market place boasting a large private spec portfolio as well as a large and successful new build social housing division.

My client are currently looking for a site manager with substantial management experience on new build housing schemes.

This development is due to start towards the end of the year but the client is looking to employ the right candidate now so that they can develop an understanding of how the company operates.

The new site will be a mixed use development; half for private rent and half affordable housing. Therefore, a manager with experience within the new build social housing sector may be at an advantage in the selection process for this role.


My client is open to negotiation regarding salary in order to secure the right candidate. Other benefits Inc. company driven bonus, car (BMW 3 Series, Mercedes C Class. Trade up and down available) or car allowance, pension (contributory), healthcare and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Your skills knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:
New build residential experience is essential for the role
Previous experience working for national house builders is preferable

Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel

Able to embrace training
Qualifications and training - essential

CSCS Card at Site Manager Level
Valid SMSTS certificate
Valid First Aid at Work certificate
Qualifications and training - desirable

NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate
Experience

Trade experience and site experience preferable
Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
Special requirements

Current full UK driving licence
