Supervisor

Job Description

Building Careers UK are specialist in Construction & Property recruitment and currently looking to recruit a Supervisor with social housing experience for our client based in the North West. This will be on a permanent basis.

This role will involve supervising busy teams and working within a fast paced and reactive environment. Successful candidates will have experience of working in repairs and maintenance and/or social housing.

You will be asked to have a proactive role in management of onsite safety, working to budgets and effectively working with the customer. You must have good communication skills and be able to develop first-class client relationships. In addition, successful candidates will ideally have:

* SSSTS or SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS
* Asbestos Awareness
* Available references

Roles and responsibilities will include…

* Attending site progress meetings
* Liaising with clients and their representative
* Ensure all works are signed off by the client
* Ensure effective Health & Safety
* Produce method statements and risk assessment
* On time, in budget
* Produce QA reports on final completion alongside Health and Safety File.
* Working to achieve performance targets and a
* Carry out a high standard of service for the department
* You will be working to planned works project.

You will be overseeing and be responsible for co-ordinating teams carrying out such work as:

* Aids and Adaptions
* Window and door replacement
* Kitchen and bathrooms
* Internals/externals
