This can vary from site to site depending upon each client's requirements for their workers. As an agency, we do advise that all trades and labour possess an in-date, valid CSCS Card as this will come as a great asset for you when applying for jobs within the building and construction sector.
We recruit for jobs across the North-West and Greater Manchester and have expanded our range across Yorkshire and the North-East of England. We can also work across the UK and have nationwide opportunites, contact us to find out what we have for you.
Unfortunately, as an agency, we are not able to offer apprenticeships to candidates who are working through us for a client, this is because apprenticeship schemes are government-funded and therefore cannot be supported through recruitment agencies.
However we are always on the lookout for new Apprentices to join us in the Building Careers office based in Skelmersdale, to work for us directly.
For any skilled trades, most of our clients will agree to offer CIS payment, however, some of our clients prefer to pay all their workers only by Umbrella. Please enquire wth our consultants if you have any further questions.
Yes, we have a preferred supplier list of umbrella companies that will pay all our workers.
Legally, we are not able to pay the labourer's CIS. This is because labourers fall under 'Supervision, direction and control', meaning that legally we can only pay labourers via PAYE Umbrella.
